An enriching experience combining vocal training, diction, and performance

Do you have a passion for theatre, opera, or performing arts? No Strings Theatre provides emerging artists with the opportunity to take center stage in professional-level productions. Whether you're an actor, singer, or aspiring director, we welcome you to audition and showcase your talent.
What We're Looking For:

Performers: Actors, singers, dancers, and musicians with a passion for theatre and opera.

Creative Team Members: Directors, stage managers, designers, and other creative professionals who want to collaborate on innovative productions.

Summer Interns/Apprentices: Positions available in associate producer/marketing, fundraising, associate direction, musical direction, vocal coaching, stage management, and production assistance.

Eligibility & Application
NST's Spotlight Emerging Artist Opera Intensive Program is in its 4th season and welcomes emerging artists globally aged 18 and above who demonstrate a commitment to operatic excellence. Past creative and business collaborators have included William Shookhoff, Gregory Finney, Claire Elise Harris, Ernesto Ramirez, Cecilia Nguyen Tran, Kathy Domoney, and many others. We have a wonderful line up for our summer 2026 season. Performances will be in Toronto.
Interested individuals should submit a brief biography and a recording of a recent performance as part of their application.
This intensive offers a unique opportunity to refine skills, network with peers, and perform in a professional setting. Join us this summer to take your artistry to the next level!
