Admission $20 adults, $15 senior/students
Please mail or fax registration form to No Strings Theatre by April 7th, 2008. date
extended to April 14
Contestants must:
- Prepare 2 musical theatre selections (one will be used as a tie breaker is necessary)
- Provide there own instrumental tracks in CD format
- Register by March 30 (forms will be avalable on line by Mar 1 or at the musc theatre workshop)
- Arrive at the theatre 5:30-6:00 pm on the day of the contest for a sound check
1st Prize Thriple Threat Instruction Package worth $800
1 Term Singing Instruction or 4 coaching sessions with pianist (Denise Willams studio)
1 Term Drama Instruction (Sirius Theatrical Company)
$100 package of classes to Dance Tech
2nd Prize $50 cash
3rd Prize $25 cash

graduate of Sheridan College’s Music Theatre Program as well as having an Honors Degree in Fine Arts from York University. Currently, Shelly is a full time drama and music theatre teacher at Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate in Scarborough

JUDGING CRITERIA
The scoring will be from 1-10, including 0.5
increments, 10 being the highest
The judges will be scoring:
- vocal skills (including pitch, rhythm, diction),
- interpretation (making it your own)
- a sense of character
- suitability to the candidate
- deportment and presentation
- confidence and delivery
- stage presence and overall effect
